Elland Road is home of Leeds United Football Club, this stadium has a long and distinguished history which has seen several cup and league victories. Elland Road can hold over 40,000 people (all seated). The football club was formed in 1904 and the first game was played at Elland Road in October 1904. Elland Road has a club shop and facilities for conferences and public events.
Leeds City Art Gallery
Located on the Headrow, in the city centre you will find Leeds City Art Gallery and admission is free making it a great cultural cheap day out for the whole family. A Medley of traditional and contemporary paintings, sculpture, drawings and prints, can be seen here across from the Henry Moore Institute, the Craft and Design Centre and Leeds Central Library. Tiled Hall Café is a gorgeous place to rest your legs before setting off around the city once again.

having won the Leeds Best Nightclub three times, it offers both live music and nights throughout the week concentrating on different styles of music from funk, hip hop to jazz. Wednesday is MoveOnUp; Friday is Funk Soul Nation and Sunday Joint, which features 3 live bands every week.
The Mission is for the serious clubber where dancing ‘till dawn is expected. Big club nights include Hed Kandi, Back2Space and Kiss Da Funk all having Saturday night once a month residencies. The Mint Club is another house, techno and electro hub and has recently undergone a £500,000 refurbishment including a state of the art sound and lighting system.

This is an award-winning exhibitions venue, research centre and sculpture archive. The Henry Moore Institute is open year round, free of charge and showcases the best in international sculpture, both historical and contemporary, and it also runs a world-class programme of research and events.
